Launched in 1988 in Brazil by Marcos Matos, Bom de Brasa Hardwood Lump Charcoal is about consistency in each package. We are barbecue lovers who seek for the best for our barbecue and consequently for our products. Our charcoal products are 100% natural and get ready for cooking in around 15 minutes after lighting. When it comes to burning hot, long and clean, consistency is acchieved by using the hardest parts (heartwood) of the best reforesting species for its composition such as Black Wattle and a few types of denser Eucalyptus that are at least 10 years old. After that we standardize the lumps in our packing houses so the products are ready for use and for a positive experience for the end user.

IMA authorizes companies in the State of Santa Catarina (Brazil) that meet its environmental norms, such as Bom de Brasa, to produce, pack and transport charcoal, firewood and similar natural products.

IBAMA

Federal Enviromental Institue in Brazil that regulates and approves the use of natural resources, with exploration of wood, firewood and forest sub-products for trade, when the company complies with the norms.
